Hot Secrets - Sweet Heat Honey Chilli Sauce
The hot secret of our Sweet Heat Honey Chilli Sauce is the fact that we use a range of chillies, including Cayenne, Birds Eyes, Jalapenos, Thai, Habanero, Peri Peri and Purple Prince in season which are fermented for a period of time. Ideally the chilli mash is fermented for six months at a minimum. This allows the flavour and heat to develop but the burning sensation of the chilli to soften. With the addition of our honey in the final processing stage this develops a depth of sweetness and heat without the sting. Our chilli sauce is ideal for using as a sauce to add flavour and spice as well as a marinade for chicken or seafood.
